I really like how you did her hair. A lot of people color it as just a normal bright red. I think you have it much closer to how it's described.

Aww, you're makin' me blush over here!! Merry is the main character of a series of books(basically known as the Merry Gentry series) by Laurell K. Hamillton, who is best known for the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series.

Are you the one that drew Frost then? I've been waiting for that artist to draw some more pictures from that amazing series. I was just thinking about re-reading the books, but I decided not to.
Okay, I was exagerating a bit...I was hoping for more Frost. Or Rhys (I belive that's how his name is spelled)...
But this is amazing. I love the color of the hair, and only wish that my Auburn was that pretty. *Shrugs*

Frost is my favorite character, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the others. Merry is a lucky, lucky woman to be surrounded by all those gorgeous men (though I don't think I could have slept with them all like she did/does).

I only got decent at drawing by practicing practically non-stop throughout my child-hood and teen years (well, between school and softball) so don't be discouraged, just use me to get better!! I started out by just copying my fave artists styles then just started to combine things about each different one that I liked, so slowly it became my *own* style. It just takes time and practice. Meanwhile, you have nothing to worry bout'. Drawing is as vital to me as air!

They are VERY good, so if you have plenty of time to spare and nothing else to do, I HIGHLY recommend them. They are the fanfictions that first got me addicted to SS/HG. I was squicked out by the idea untill I read "The Other Side of Darkness"....and was glued to the computer for a day and a night reading the entire thing in one sitting
