Description
This is Frost from Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry series. Or as Queen Andais calls him, her "Killing Frost". I drew him with his sword "Geamhradh Po'g" strapped to his back. I love him. He's definitely my fave, but I also have a fondness for Galen as well. Too hard to pick just one.
Annnnd, since I always have some type of song I associate with a character, for Frost, sticking with the "ice" theme : Madonna- "Frozen"

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!Though it contains some "graphic scenes" that's what makes this book wonderful to read. I just finished the second book. When I read the 1st book I just got hooked.

I just started reading this series! I'm on the second book now and I'm just plowing through it. I'm just itching to draw/paint these characters, but...but...I'd have to put the books down to do it! *wail* Lol, very nice on Frost here. He's one of my faves too. But it's kind of hard for me to wrap my head around his hair looking like tinsel...but feeling soft. I'll get there one of these days I suppose, lol. Oh, have you read the Hollows series by Kim Harrison (I can't remember if I 've mentioned these books or not...) If you enjoy Twilight and Laurel K. Hamilton's books, chances are, you'll lurve Kim Harrison's books as well.

I choose him above everyone...well, not that the others are less sexier...but Galen is too nice, and Doyle is...too dark (physically and personality-wise lol) and Frost seems to be the best candidate for King.

i know but i have some sad news for you.
on the lkh forum, everyone is going nuts cos a few people who have an advanced copy told us that the book is only 212 pages, and if you go to Amazon or anywhere like that u will see its a similar number to that, though it does change. Barnes and noble have it at 342 I think.
some are saying its so short because the publishers made her lop a load of at the end of A Stroke...and this is why the book is so short, its what wasnβt included BUT that made us more angry cos its being marketed as a brand new book, not 4.5 but number 5 in the series. and its priced as so. its a ridiculous price for that amount of pages.
ill still buy it, even if it was 50 pages cos i neeeed it, but its still really unfair. she says that its because 'Anita really wants to be written right now' which is fair enough, a writer cant choose whatβs in her head to write but I feel merry fans are suffering for Anita. not fair at all.
PHEWβ¦rant over.....
on the upside, she has announced that instead of just 7 merry books as planned, there are going to be 13 at least!! whoop!! I hope they arenβt all like Mistrals Kiss though!!
