Description (Wingo was initially meant to be in the crossover and then the idea of that was scrapped later on. But with Paper Draggadon's debut in Color Splash, I have been thinking of second thoughts. www.mariowiki.com/File:Draggad… In fact, he's also meant to be the first major Mario character to step into the Paper RWBY-verse, giving the story a start.)

After the events of Volume 3, Emerald ran away from Cinder and her forces out of great guilt. During her travels, she accidentally falls into one of the magical pipes that are connected between the Paper RWBY-verse and the Paper Mario-verse, landing in an overall reddish desert. She correctly guessed she's in a faraway place, and decided to stay, staying far away from the chaotic events that she was involved in by setting them up.

Later, in her stay in the desert, she bumps into a thief like her, Wingo. Wingo stole something as usual, however, he happened to be roosting right where Emerald is. Scared at first, but like many of the creatures Emerald met, he acts like an average human being. However, she still wants to get away from him, having the vibe that he isn't a good person. Alas, Wingo knew what she's going to do and grabbed her to the top of one of the rocky stands surrounded by the rapid moving sands. Wingo wants to know who she is, as being his current primary homeland, he never saw anyone like her (of course). Emerald was forced to spill the beans and told him the events that took place in Volume 3, along with the fact that she used to be a thief.

Wingo was fascinated by this story. He's been having the simple life of a thief ever since he used to live in Sub-Con. He was already interested in that life and enjoyed almost every moment of it. Emerald was surprised that such a person has no guilt throughout his years. Wingo then thought of something. He asks a question before deciding to let her free from the mountaintop (will she join Wingo as a partner in crime and try to embrace her guilt, or will Wingo think she wouldn't be worth bring with him due to her refusal?).

What will Emerald's answer be? Regardless, hopefully Wingo won't slip his tongue about her story in the wrong place and time...

The location they are in is based on this www.mariowiki.com/Bone-Dry_Dun…

What Wingo has in his necklace will be explained in the future.

Mario belongs to Nintendo.
RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth.
