I spent 9 hours on this picture, I hope you'll like it.cid's clothes got messed up- his pants, atleast- sice i didn't know what color they are. Sooo... it's like a FF7/FFac/FFDoC mix, i guess.... (yes cid removed his goggles.)
Scanned it in school. The colors are screwed up, since it's darker in reality, and GIMP couldn't do anything about it.
I was happy with this picture... and i couldn't think of a good title, so... stars. Yeah... (i think i went for cid's hair

It's really cute. I normally don't like random pairings, but I really love this pairing. It makes me want to finish my trade piece (it got cancelled awhile ago, but still), even though I didn't like how Cid's expression came out. It makes me want to get moving quicker on rewriting my fanfic. But school and making my costume has been keeping me really busy.

It's not school per say. I have a pretty easy semester right now. It's my costume project that keeps me busy. It takes a lot more time than I thought it would.
It was actually a mutual thing. It was for Valentine's Day, but we both never got ours done. =Neko-daewen did VincentxCid for me before (and she had gotten me into the pairing) so I was going to do that pairing for her the second time around. The biggest problem I had with the actual art was that Cid's eyes were closed and he looked more like he was sleeping when he's not. lol As far as writing, Cid is more challenging to characterize. I think I made him too submissive-sounding when I rewrote the first version of my fanfic (lots wrong with it since I wrote it when I was sick, and still some things wrong with it since I wasn't completely feeling better). I was writing him as uncomfortable with that side of himself since I can see him being that if he actually was. Both versions are on my da (one in scraps and one in one of my folders). I don't know how much you'd understand it. Some of it probably sounds like I was on something when I wrote it, and I have a pretty big English vocabulary.
