Well this certainly brings back some memories; we had an entire hedge/fence made with this bush, back at the house I grew up in. I can't recall the name of the plant itself, but it was very hardy.

I like the subject you have chosen to photograph, the flowers are simple looking at a glance but when they are photographed it's easier to see the small details and texture of the petals. For this reason too, I think that if some of the more central flowers were in focus rather than the mid-ground flowers at the edges and some of the sticky pods, it would be an even better photo. But alas, photography is I am sure as much about trial and error as any other artistic medium

Keep on photographing, there's no such thing as too many photos

well the flowers are fantastic, i have never seen such colors in a flower!

I like the intense shade of blue, and how most of the flowers are concentrated in the bottom left corner. However, I can't quite decide if this would be better if the center-most flowers were in focus, instead of the one on the bottom right. Still, these are lovely flowers and the contrast is very nice.
