Concept of the dragon form of the Loki in the Medieval themed Avengers AU RP, Avera on tumblr [link]

It was a lot of fun drawing and coloring him, and it was interesting playing with the pale gold color and making it shiny at the same time.
My friend who played Loki had a firm concept of what the dragon form would look like, aside from the wing design. There were a few places where I was given artistic liberties, but overall I followed my notes on the design.
In this one, I was more aware of the muscles an tendons and how those would light and shadow.
The belly scales gave me the most frustrations, as I had the color wrong for the shadows the first time around.
It was interesting drawing the hands. I seem to do better at drawing amazing hands when it is attached to a dragon instead of a human. Even Kara doesnt often get amazing hands like the ones I draw in the picture.
