Okay, but Prey (2017) is actually really compelling
I'm still not sure why they didn't call it
System Shock 3

Or SpaceShock

Or Not-Really-Bio-Shock

And the fact I'm putting it next to those games should give you an idea how highly I think of it

It's one of those...some call them "immersive sims", but I like the term "shenaningan game"

Because it's at its best when you can survey a scenario and think "what shenaningans can I do here?"

Yeah, I could just shoot that alien in the face with a shotgun

But what if I
- transform into a mug
- sneakily roll behind them
- activate the turret that's there
- freeze them in place with my glue gun so they're helpless as the turret guns them down?
