--She turn the head, meeting the amused look of Jackson. Maybe she had just met him, maybe not entirely trust him, maybe he'd been very rude on many occasions... but she could tell that, no matter what happened, no matter the risk they have to run, he would know what to do. In addition, he painted the situation in a much more fun way, which made her feel more secure in a strange way.
      "Is it okay if we make one last stop in the village? I want to say goodbye to a friend."
    The boy frowned, rolling up his doublet.
      "Well, It will not do any harm. We have plenty of time to get the stone and travel to the future."
      "From what I understoodd, we'll always have time."
    Katrina smiled, pulling up the bag to her shoulder.
    And finally, she left her home behind.--
