After a hard weekThe stormy dusk skies blessed us
A double rainbow
And suddenly my
Steps were lighter, sense of awe
Restored, I'm thankful
It stretched across the
Whole sky, my lens could not take
In all the wonder
A simple market
Parking lot can sometimes be
A magical place

Yes, have been interested in it since I was a child. By the time I was 11, I had narrowed it down to six careers I would have if I would be six people, and one would be a research scientist!

Thanks! That was a storm leaving! Being this close to the North Atlantic, our weather tends to west to east, and this was facing east.

I wonder if there's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Or maybe it's a big ol' bucket of Temptations Kitty Treats! My kitties would love that. ^_^

I could see both ends, kind of, the first time ever in my life - the color as you can see was in from of the tree line! And it stretch across the whole sky so the other end was visible, too. I did not drive over to look for the pot of gold, after the week I had, the rainbow itself was treasure enough!
