Creature design for Feravyre ! I hope you like it, i had a lot of fun with the prompt <33
It's slightly later than usual bc ive been away for the weekend, but i wanted to get it submitted before i go back to work.

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?
All of it! After reading the whole thing i had a pretty clear idea of the colours and body shape i wanted - i think the hardest part was getting a face that didnt look like real world animals. I wasn't sure where to start haha - I couldnt resist the big teeth, but beginning with four eyes and ears helped. I imagine it doesnt have nostrils - its entire nose is a damp, porous organ for collecting scents. Its hind 'hands' are used for digging and things that require a little bit of fine motor skills.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?
I was definitely inspired by the hyena body shape and markings, and the echidna spines. I wanted to create spines that would be useful in defense or displays, and possibly with rooting out food. The scales started off looking more reptilian, like the gila monster, although the colours are mammalian. Its size and spines are impressive, however it's a gentle giant, wandering the large and dusty landscape alone.
