This is an open/free original species' base. This means you can use this base without paying me or create your own lineart/character. Just remember to credit me for the species.
STALKER LINEART (Paint friendly)
Species description:Species: Stalker (Hunting FoxCat)
Sex: (Male and Female look the same)
Size: Up to 60cm at the shoulder
Diet: Meat
Description: Stalkers are agile and fast hunters that prefer to hunt in the early hours of the morning. Their crystal mask is said to be impossible to break.
File description:The file contains the following layers:
- Highlights
- Lineart (watermarked)
- Shadows
- Mask
- Ears/Claws/Teeth
- Fur
- Main Base
All layers are locked, so you only need to pick the brush and paint over them to design a character.
Rules:
Do not sell/use the design that comes with the base. You can use it to make adoptables/your OCs. Only free and point adoptables are allowed, no cash. No altering the lineart/removing the watermark. Yes, if you draw them yourself, ear and tail changes are allowed, though the crystal mask/underbite plus main body shape has to stay. Not allowed are also wings, horns or other physical add-ons that are not on the main base.

I'm trying to buy a stalker from someone, but I was wondering if I may re-design it into a wolf character/one of my own species instead of keeping it a stalker. May I do so? I would, of course, re-draw it instead of editing the original piece.

This is not a question you should ask me. While I did make the base, I did not create the design (colour and pattern) you are looking to buy. For me there is no problem in changing species but you should ask the design's creator. I don't see why they wouldn't say yes, though.

Uh, hello.
I was just wondering if I could do some minor alterations like, the tongue and teeth structure, add a little bit of fluff. Things that weren't clearly explained/showed in the picture. If not, I'm cool with that too.
I adopted this little guy and was just making sure of things before I go on making unapproved changes by the species owner.
I can add accessories right? x3

I had no particular design in mind for the tongue so go ahead and design it how you like. For the teeth, I had imagined them to be a little orca-like, aside from the lower ones that stuck out, but it's not mandatory to keep them that way. More fluff is fine, hairy is magnificent. (Yep, accessories can added without trouble at all.)
However, all these 'alterations' you want to make, I'd prefer if they were not made over the actual base, but feel free to make them if you draw your bab.

And worry not, I don't trace or use bases at all C: (probably because I suck at it) so you'll be seeing this stalker in different positions with and accessories (and most likely with blod. Because I love blood uwu)

I noticed that the preview image is nice and framed and all that so it's more appealing. I tried to change the preview file to something different so it'd be like that too for a base I made, but since it was different then the main file or something, for some reason it didn't work! How'd you get yours to preview like that? o:

If you have already submitted the file, you have to edit it and when you try to edit the image it gives you the two options 'Main' and 'Preview'. Preview is what the people see (which is what you have to change), Main is what they download (which you already uploaded, so you're fine).
