The problem is that it has everything from all my drawings, to my father's documents and all my mother's works. And nothing is on the same directory, so finding everything would be an epic challenge. I'm probably going to move out in a year, though, so I guell I'll simply buy a new one, move all my stuff and leave this one to my parents. It'll be a beautiful day!

*snort* I've an old second hand computer is probably about that age or more and it's still functioning (well barely -it restart itself unpredictably and sometimes the screen gets distorted), but we rarely use it after my older brother got me this new PC a few years ago, and my dad got himself a laptop and my older sister got my mom a netbook -yet still I don't want them to get rid of it yet for a few reasons.

Attachment or stuff so secret and deeply hidden that you can't find it anymore and need time to find again?

More or less, and I also have Painter 9 (which I love colouring with) on it although I scarcely use it anymore -I would have IF the old (Windows XD) computer doesn't unpredictably refresh itself and if the old tv-like monitor isn't distorted at time and poorly calibrated (where everything would appear darker on it while on HD flat screen it appears lighter, thus it makes it difficult for me to know if I'm applying the right shade/tone/darkness/lightness when colouring)...and my new comp wouldn't successfully install it for some reason no matter how many times I tried even with the security code/password/whatever for it and I can't afford for the more compatible new version of the software, Painter 12 (it cost ridiculously over 1K+ here, which is around as much as my medium size tablet -I got my Painter 9 for free through a student in my collage a long time ago).

That makes me realize that all of my drawing programs are installed in the old PC too and I have no way to find them again... °-°
And yes, the price of drawing programs is obscenely high... The new CS6 is little less than 2000€ if you buy it new and €400 if you have the CS5 and want the update. My Intuos M, with some student bonus sale they were making at the time, costed around 300€. At that price, only professional high-level artists and companies could afford the original.

Ouch. You don't have the installation CD for those programs you've stalled in there? D:
Yeah, it's ludicrous. Even traditional drawing/coloring/painting materials are ridiculously costly. Quite sad that such an enjoyably fun hobby is a painfully expensive hobby. Well that's how the world is now... ah I kind of miss the good old days where prices were more reasonable, even in groceries.

Sadly no. T_T
Everything was given to me from someone else and I never though about saving it on a CD... I should start, though. =3=
