I ended up making a little backstory for nature dragons in my head too. This guy is a young dragon, since his "wings" are small and he doesn't have many roots on his back feet yet. As they get older, their horns and back feet turn more tree like, and by the time they're old age, they more resemble a bush or tree than a dragon. They protect forests from harm and some have powers to heal nature.
