Ataraxe belongs to *LosmiosI drew Ataraxe a while back.. but completely messed up the his markings, put his scar on the wrong side.. flipped the image, and his leg markings were wrong. lol... I messed that up good.
Anways, wanted to draw him again. I ended up doing a manip of him instead. Hope you like los,

I learned how to use the smudge tool more effectivly, and hopefully the horse hair will look more fluid in the coming pictures!

It took a while for sure lol, I learned where I went wrong with the manes and tails.. so I turned down the pressure of the smudge tool, and was able to make it more silky, finally lol.
I'm really glad you like it!! I try to go for a more painted look, and I think I may have swung it this time.
I am looking forward to when I start digital painting... being able to create the whole scene *sigh* hopefully soon

Seriously. Wow. I know your style, but I still had trouble processing that it was done by someone who's only JUST started manips. I first thought it was a digital painting! In fact, you still don't have me convinced!

I did spend a lot more time painting in things, like his color, eyes, horn, making the hooves cloven etc. It took another hour or two to nail the certain things it needed.
this is what I am trying to hard to do, make the subject and the background work together lol.
You can tell i'm new to manips, cause it's all hits and misses with the ones i upload
