Bungle's heart is ruby-red, but her body's made of glass.

Eureka the pink kitten longs for sea-herring and bass.

A small black dog named Toto, he runs underneath the sun,

Poor Kaliko, his steward, tries to keep his king in line.

Uncle Henry, Cap'n Bill, and Aunt Em are all fine.

Polychrome, the rainbow's daughter, is a delightful fairy.

The square Woozy, though all straight lines, is really rather merry.

Scraps the patchwork girl is strange but quite the jolly sight,

Carter Green the Vegetable Man has twinkling eyes so bright…
