Copic multiliners size 0.03, 0.1, and 0.5, hunt crow quill size 102 and 108, Dr. PH Martin's Dipping Ink in Black, and Ivory cardstock.
3.5 hours.

Pretty, pretty, PRETTY! I can't wait to see me and my beautiful Arcanine colored. I'm super duper impressed with the fur and tree bark detail- your backgrounds always make me happy. I like the ivy too, even though I know it pissed you off. XD
One of my favorite things has got to be me pulling back the skin by his mouth. CUTE! I want a big fluffy Arcanine for reals. D:

I love the tree bark. And yeh, the ivy was a tad... tedious.. but not really that bad. I was just belly-achin'. What killed me was the vine infested trees D:

I'm curious, are the dipping ink you are using copic proof?

Well, when I tested it I used a different paper so I thought it was, but apparently on this particular paper it isn't (Thankfully I found that out before I colored on this picture) but luckily I scanned it at 600 dpi and my printer's black ink is copic proof.
(To be honest, I might do a sepia toned ink painting of this by printing it on watercolor paper and then coloring over it with muted copics, I'm not sure yet)

Whoa, such great details in the outline, I am especially amazed by how you did the fur on the Arcanine. The background is beautifully detailed too, and great job on the pose for the girl!

Aheheh, yesh it did... I ruined a tablecloth in the process via spilling black, waterproof, permanent dipping ink all over it (I really liked that tablecloth too), and the video of it added up to I think 3 hours of real time drawing.
note to self: fur in moderation.
