Aaaaaaand heeeere's Toño!!!Poor thing, I chose to perpetrate him this afternoon in another one of my speedpainting experiments. Dunno. I like the way Spainzaku looks here, though I think I made his face a tad bit too effeminate and he may look more like Seiya than Sukazu (and heaven knows I hate Seiya to bits) XDDDD. I put too much hair on his head, too. Poor Toño XDDDD
It actually looks slightly less ugly in FULVIEW, believe it or not...

Painted in SAI, adjusted in Photoshop... and the colors after finishing it in SAI looked rather washed out for my tasted (I mean, I always go for the über saturated), so in PS I used a lot of duplicate layer/multiply/screen on it XDDDD

whao, good idea. I haven't tried SAI. I've got cs2 and painter11 but I haven't had much practice with painter. Out of those 3 which do you like the best?

I'm not very good at CGing after 8478374017 years with Photoshop, but this one is still the best program overall. SAI, and OpenCanvas are really good for painting, but are lacking in effects, text and options. Painter is superb for painting, but I don't have it XDDDD. So one has to keep trying at PS or combine programs, in my case.

Right. I heard SAI was good for lineart but there really needs to be a super program that combines the best elements of each. It could be called... PainterCanvasSAIshop!

SAI is great for lineart because when you use the vector layer it allows you to vary thickness of the lines, something PS doesn't once you've closed the lines. But yes, there should be a good, FREE program combining all the good things from those programs XDDD
