Tanya and Nexus after a training session. : )Her father is a strict man to train for who does not accept compromises. He sees dressage as the only true dicipline to show off good horsemanship. He also believes it is the only dicipline fit for a girl, while show jumping and cross country is only for sturdy men or rebelling girls without manners and high class. Everytime Tanya has tried to tell her father her true passion is show jumping, she has gotten a scolding or a lecture in how to behave according to the family standards. Her mum, having a history as a well reputated dressage rider herself, has the same values as her housband and will not allow Tanya to ride any other dicipline that seem dangerous or unclassy. Karpatov Hall is also one of the most influental riding academy in Kaliningrad and the baltic countries, tutoring just about all of the biggest names within international dressage. Tanya riding show jumping would simply not fit into their reputation and good name. Her father believe Tanya must follow his and her mother's footsteps to one day continue drifting Karpatov Hall together with her brother.
