Description 2018 - what a year!

I worked on soooo many pet commissions, went to conventions with my stuff, did the Inktober-Challenge, build a binder with self-drawn pokemon cards...and many, many, more...

I know I would love to flip through that pokemon card binder! I wish so much that Nintendo will someday come upon your designs and use them.

Frohes neues jahr! = D

Frohes Neues, ebenso! : D

And yes, I could write a whole essay about Pokemon - but it's art (and the TCG especially) had a big effect on me. I have a very strong childhood memory, were I would be outside and copy this card here: www.magicmadhouse.co.uk/pokemo… Also, my mom gave me some old drawings of mine a year ago and the oldest ones show pokemon as motives.
With the ACEO-stuff I traded self-drawn cards and realized only a while ago how many I drew. Since most of them were traded, I had them as scans only, but decide to make prints for myself and put them to a special little binder. Words can't describe how much I love this thing and how it feels to have an own collection. You can view it here: karpav0li.blogspot.com/2018/07…

I also hope that the Pokemon Company stumble across some of my cards, since I want to do just one card for them xD

All the cards you drew look like genuine pokemon card drawings! I wouldn't be surprised to find this kind of style in the pokemon cards of both past and present. Do you still have your drawing of that Electrike card? It would be cute to make a modern version of it with your current skills and putting it side by side with the first example you drew.

My childhood was also filled with pokemon cards and games, though at the time I was not drawing so I never really drew any myself. But I concur with your feelings over its art! With the trading cards, I would love the beautiful and fascinating colors and designs and keep my favorites like little treasures. I still remember some of my favorites including a holographic Goldeen , holographic Mightyena and Starmie.

If the pokemon people saw your drawings, I know they would immediately LOVE them! I wonder if there was any sort of way of getting in contact with the correct people? Don't give up, it may indeed happen someday!

Sadly, no. But other old Pokemon art, gladly. I did this kind of redraw with Ho-Oh and Lugia: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi…

And yes, I absolutely agree when it comes to the art from the pokemon cards. I have so many favorites and highly recommend videos about this topic: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPeN45…

Aw, I can't see the first link because I don't have facebook.
Speaking of Ho-Oh and Lugia, there is an important question I must ask you but I think I will note you sometime later.

Wow! I hadn't realized all of the easter eggs, creativity and deep thought that really goes into these little cards! It makes them more artistically special than people give them credit for!
