the transformation of Lettuce *laughs at the name* and the other mews were taken down from Youtube. can you get a new one for them?
P.S. Heroes in green, but no Green Arrow, Green Hornet, or Green Lantern... shame!

Yep. The thing with Tokyo Mew Mew is that each girl has powers of a different animal, but they also have the theme of being named after different foods or flavors 'cause they all work at a cafe (which doubles as their secret base). Each of their names are:
Ichigo-the pink one (Ichigo is Japanese for strawberry) cat powers
Mint-the blue one (self explanatory) bird powers
Lettuce-the green one you see here (self explanatory) fish powers
Pudding-the yellow one (self explanatory) monkey powers
Zakuro-the purple one (it's short for some kind of entre' in Japan I think) wolf powers
I would've drawn Pudding and Zakuro with Sailor Venus and Sailor Saturn respectively, but there's no yellow or purple Powerpuff Girls Z to go with it.
In the American version, the girls names were respectively (in the same order)
Zoey
Corina
Bridget
Kikki
Renee'
But I still say, go and watch the Japanese version-it's better than the dub. Just find a clear vid so you can read the subtitles.

I can't get over the names....."Pudding" and "Mint"....
*giggle-snort*
I don't think I'd be able to watch it with a straight face!
