we dont have malls here and i like my own method of doing colored tsukamaki,it allows me to put more details in them *weathering and what not*

thanks for the compliment,on this one i use a black garter( the one they put in pants),i choose this material because it has that certain texture,it has that certain look i want...

i made a cap out of wood,i made it in a way that if i stick it on the end it will look like there's a hole,its also removable so i can replace the handle wrap easily,i knot the tsukamaki without the cap

nope i only use normal chisel(the usual flat one )and a cutter knife,the cap it self is made out of three small parts( for easy carving),three layers of wood glued together( like the way you make the handle) i shape it separately then glued it together

This is quite difficult to understand hmm... you would not just mind taking just 1 or 2 photographs of the cap and such and just a few annotations to explain please
if you do this you could potentiall help hundreds of swordmakers around the world XD
