I agree it does look very cool!
And LOL, yeah, that price is 53 cents out of my price range too!
But, it also brings up something I saw in a video once. [link] The video is How-to Publish Like a Rock Star and is a panel at a comic-con that had 4 successful indispensable comic artists talking about the ins and the outs of the business. One thing one panelists said stuck in my mind, which is she was helping out another creator at a comic-con and sold out of a single issue color book that was $22 US. But, they had a hard tine pushing a bound 3 volume anthology that had the whole series in black in white. At the end one panelist joked that we should price our work at $100! LOL, Great minds think alike eh?
BTW, I highly recoomend the video for all creators, and even written book self-publishers, cause a lot of it is applicable to all aspects of the self publishing business.

Hey, you want to really freak people out sell it for an even price. Instead of it being $21.99, why not price it at either $21 or $22? People will love you for it cause the tax doesn't change irregardless of that one stupid cent. (And it kind of insults our intelligence.
And I agree. Though I have to admit I love a good black and white book. There are several online comics that I follow that are black and white and are absolutely gorgeous and that I'd pay as much as color for. One I found on Drunk Duck is The Cull. [link]
