Part of a sketch battle started by [link]I was inspired to do one after seeing Ryan's [link]
version. The battle was to make a hip-hop artist from a country other than America. I chose Japan since I'm in Tokyo(what a lame excuse
).About the character: Her name is Momoe. She trained as a taiko drummer as a child and somewhere in her early teens, she became infatuated with jazzy underground hip-hop. Though she is usually seen with her band, (a DJ, Sax player and pianist) she also plays solo fusing elements of traditional taiko drumming and hip-hop beats.

This is an awesome rendition of taiko in the hip-hop world. It's traditional but you can see modern style to it.
