After seeing some of Chamba and Kamo`s DB fanart, it got me juiced to do my own!17 is such a punk, beating up kids for no reasons. Not sure how much further Ill take this. Would like to colour. Posted the line on Twitter and Patreon.

there were reruns of the show for decades in my birthcountry so I know it by heart ahaha I really loved Mirai Trunks storyline and I wish we could have explored this dystopian future some more.

17's become a bit of a favorite of mine, for some reason. That design, clothing, demeanor and dub voice. Perfect match.

I actually dig his Japanese voice more but the English voice fits as well.
Along with 18, very different in design from Toriyama`s other villians.

They were entertaining, even if I felt the Android Saga was a little weak. History of Trunks changed all that though - it's my favorite DBZ feature, which is why this piece resonates with me.

Aaaaaah, remembering the time when I watched DBZ for the first time (I was... something between 4 and 6 years old at that time, can't really remember) 17 always used to be one of my most favourite characters. *o* I don't even know why, a little kid should rather like the good guys, right? XD
This brings back all those good memories of spending afternoons in front of the TV with my brother and/or cousin watching Dragon Ball and singing along to the opening song.

For me 17 resembled a good guy when I first got into DB. I was introduced to DB before it officially came out in the States so I had only experienced in Japanese which I didnt understand at the time. I remember watching Gohan and Trunks fighting 17 & 18 and thinking " why the heck are they fighting? They all look like theyre in public school and non of them look like bad guys" lol. That and I thought 17 was a girl at first when I saw the manga then my Japanese schooled me on the story. Drawing this brought back a lot of good memories!

Aww, that's cool, being able to watch the Japanese originals even before it came out in the States. We had no way of watching the Japanese version back then since we had no internet (well, we had but the only one knowing the password was our dad and he barely ever was home)... ;o;
In Germany it always had been obvious that 17 was a guy because of his voice. He had a way manlier voice than quite some other characters. XD

It's a shame, Android 17 is my favorite villain, but Gohan's my favorite character all in all. Still, excellent portrayal. Trunks looks awesome too

Yeah, Gohan especially got good in the Buu saga, but I liked Super 17 too (despite being a GT character)
