Done in December 2005, but not scanned until now.Painted from life, though I don't remember what kind of shell this is. (I bought it from the Shop of Death, and it was labelled, but heck if I can remember the name.)
What really frustrates me is that I scanned this on one computer, and did the editing for posting on another computer, and the colors are so vastly different between the computers that I worry about what other people see, y'know? The color is as true to life as possible on this particular computer, but I know other people won't see what it really looks like. It's a bit disappointing.

Pictures have the tendency of changing hue when scanning them to a computer (at least in my case) and that changes the whole atmosphere of it.
This one is eyecatching because of the hue and details.

shells are very hard to draw cause of their shapes but i see you have no problm with that
