Speedpaint for Silvac @ FA of the Demon Steed character they autobought from me.Really played around with textures and perspective here. I went between liking this to disliking it, and now I'm not sure how I feel. I know I could have done better, but art block was seriously kicking my butt during this piece, particularly the skull is what I most wish would have come out better. Really tricky lighting there. xD But it's done now and I'll try to use any knowledge learned from this in the future. The client is happy with it though, so I'm glad. c':

The neck seems to be a bit too short and thick, but otherwise it turned out great. Good chance the neck is 100% correct and it´s just my preferences making me think it isn´t. After all half of my OCs is some kind of lanky, half-starved skeleton or zombie creature.XD
Anyway, you´ve done really well here and the character design is just awesome.:>

I tried foreshortening and made the skull larger to show perspective, but it didn't turn out like I'd hoped xD I know it's flawed haha. Hopefully next time I can get the point across better xD

Well, now flaws in the skull. I think it looks awesome. It really is just the neck that bothers me a bit, but as I said this could be due to my specific taste and not because it´s actually wrong. Foreshortening is pretty tricky if you are not completely familiar with the anatomy of the creature you use it on. You did pretty well here.^^
