[While Kirby, Captain Toad, Gardevoir and the others were dealing with Scratch MKII and Grounder MKII, Astarcuthox's castle had begin to bubble out a familiar substance from underneath before it began to rise. It was Dark Miasma, or more of it! It opens up some portals, snatches the Dark Fruit Factory, Dragnas' Castle, the Children of the Demon's Castle and even the Storm Factory. Meanwhile, above Mobius, two portals open up, one near the Death Egg, one near the ARK, both having strong mechanical hands come out and pull the 2 Robotnik Family space stations into them as more and more structures begin to get pulled in through more portals via means such as Dark Miasma tentacles and Smithy's many robot arms.]
Reporter Waddle Dee: (voiceover) Newsflash! Many robot arms and shadowy tentacles have been snatching up well known bases across the universe!

[It shows what looks like one of Bowser's old castles being hauled up along with Bob's.]
Reporter Waddle Dee: What could be the reasons for these bases being grabbed and hauled away through portals? What kind of sick monster would do such a thing?!
