I used to live in Ukraine. My dad, though lived at the time of the disaster and the radiation really did take up a huge area of the country. The radiation is not as bad as it used to be but its still dangerous to stay there for a long time. Its really sad that something like this happened.

Can you even begin to imagine mothers to be waiting in there or anxious husbands waiting to hear the good news....
