Nico and Dru have traveled to the city to see if they can find anything useful for the pack! ^^

-Day 1[?]-
< Dru's POV >
Kyoto had ordered everyone to prepare for the upcoming blizzard that was heading their way, by either gathering supplies or building up their home. I wasn't particularly good with patching things up, but I did like hunting for things, so thats what I decided to do as I bounded out of the hideout and into the oddly colored mush, covering the whole area in cold alabaster snow. It was going to get worse, I knew, but still... it was overwhelming just seeing it now. With a huff and a determined trot towards the trees, I put that aside, deciding I'd focus on the environment later. Right now I needed to focus on gathering and hunting, and it was going to take all I've got, with my dark coat making me look like a giant neon "I'm here!" sign. That thought made me sigh as I dipped under the naked underbrush and shook off the snow that decided to cling onto my black fur. This was going to be a long day...

Nico's P.O.V
I rolled about on the snow with my little companion, the red fox. After a while, I stood up and shook away all the snow that is clinging on my pelt. I could see some grey clouds at the distance and thought that it's probably better if my little friend go back home. "I'll see ya again soon!" I nuzzled him as he waved his tail playfully and scurry back to his den. I stretched my muscles a bit and walked back to the base when I saw a glimpse of a black dog walking by not far from where I am. I squinted my eyes a bit and realized it was Dru. "Dru!" I called to her and trotted towards her. "Going somewhere?" I asked.

< Dru's POV >
I was so focused on my internal babble that I didn't realize I was being spoken too until something in my peripheral vision bounded towards me. I whipped my muzzle around to find that it was Nico, and I smiled in reply to his words, "Hey! I'm uh--" I broke off for a moment and tilted my head, "I'm going out to collect food and stuff, hunting and whatnot, for the upcoming blizzard thing." I finished, wagging my tail, "What about you?" I paused again and then added, "It's nice to see you again, its been a while!"

Nico’s P.O.V
"I see, I can help ya with it if you want" I wagged my tail a bit. "Oh I was just on my way back to the base but the hideout is probably crowded with everyone fixing it and preparing stuffs for the upcoming blizzard, so I thought that going and helping you will be more fun" I give a small smile. I am getting used to her slowly, she seems nice from the moment I first met her. "Nice to see you again, it sure is,the pack is busy after all." I started padding my off the snow "If you wanna go and hunt something the hares should be still lurking around but if you wanna gather supplies the city is the best choice" I looked at her and smiled ready to go.

< Dru's POV >
I thought about his offer, and found myself nodding to his next phrase, about the hideout being crowded, "It is, that's why I'm going out." I said slowly, "I'd love some help, the more the merrier, right?" I smiled and waved my tail around vigorously, a smile forming on my muzzle as I listened to him speak, "We could head for the city, I think we'd get a lot more from there..., if not we can always hunt another time." My thoughts blurred together at the mention of going to the city, and I shook my head--now wasn't the time for any emotional crap, things needed to be done. "If you're up to going, of course," I added with a challenging grin as I followed him.

Nico's P.O.V
I saw a challenging grin on her face and replied it with my challenging grin. "Of course I am" we then made our way to the city. The city is covered in snow and many people passes around and there seems to be a lot of this christmas kind of thing. I looked around as christmas trees, lights, and people dressed in this red and white costume could be seen everywhere.
"Okay then, what are you going to get Dru?" I asked her.

< Dru's POV >
I followed Nico as we headed towards the city, not wanting to slow down any but as we got into town I could see a bunch of upwalkers and it was weird for me, I hadn't been in the city in... well in a long time. My tail drooped as we got deeper and I looked around cautiously, nearly jumping out of my fur when he spoke, "I-I'm not sure, honestly. I didn't plan this far.. I was just going to look around and see if there was anything we could get." I laughed nervously and smiled, "Would that be okay?"

Nico's P.O.V
I looked at her making a nervous smile, well all of this stuff must be new to her as well I guess. "Sure I won't mind" I smiled warmly at her. We walked around the town and just looking around, somehow fascinated by all this new things. Dru would stop by some shops and looked at the stuffs displayed by the window and looked like she wanted those but sadly we can't. Soon, ours paws were tired of walking and we rest in one of the bench. I looked around the street and caught a glance of a blue thing covered under the snow. I quickly went and grabbed it. It was a blue scarf that was covered in snow. "Look Dru!"

< Dru's POV >
I gave a small grin before proceeding forward—the odd texture underpaw was weird and scratchy, I’d definitely have sore paws after this trip. As we traveled through the cities, I found myself walking towards the reflective glass with all of the odd objects inside—useful things, but unreachable as I was told. With a sigh I’d follow Nico, keeping my nose stuck to the hard, cold ground in search of anything we could use, but as we took a break, we didn’t find anything. We’d been here for a while and I was ready to call it a day, especially with the coming dark clouds, rolling ominously over the city. I was about to open my jaws when I’d hear Nico’s voice and I turned my head, “Wah?” I squinted and trotted over towards him, waving my tail excitedly, “What is that? Do you think we could use it?!”

Nico's P.O.V
I shook my snow-filled coat as I lifted up the blue scarf to show Dru. "We definietly can use this!" I wagged my tail as I put the scarf around Dru's neck. "See? It's pretty warm isn't it?" I grinned happily as I looked up at the sky and noticed it's getting dark. The city that was filled with people begin to get quiter. "Maybe we should call it a day?" I looked to Dru as I smiled.
