Thats historically inaccurate , she in fact never said such a thing. It was propaganda writen later in history by a political prisoner. He mis quoted it when in fact it was the Duchess of Tuscany who said this famous line.

Oh I see.... so the Duchess Tuscany said that but Marie Antoinette get the credit. Because the words, "let them eat cake" is so famous and also like tagline - iconic - bold statement - famous word as Darth Vader's famous words: I'm your father.."
