Screw that I'm really proud of this. I was actually working on something else and was just completely hit with an idea and had to drop what I was doing and scribble this out on the computer. Yeah sure it's imperfect but the point is there... Don't worry it's not meant to be romantic...

This is actually a scene from my fanfic. What's supposed to be happening, is Hope thinks Shadow was killed in an explosion, during a battle involving her brother, Robotnik, Sonic, Sally and herself (incapacitated thanks to her family). In the midst of all this trouble she is forced to seek sanctuary with the Guardians, chapparoned by an unenthusiastic Sonic, as her uncle and brother relentlessly still try and get their hands on her. Meanwhile, Shadow is actually very much alive and can't explain why he continuously searches for this girl he met by chance, and ends up following this trail to Angel Island where he hooks up with the Dark Legion, also searching for her and the Guardians. Unbeknownst to Shadow he's being used, again, by the D.L. and so they dog him in secret, confident that wherever he ends up, what they want will be there too. She's been sick with regret thinking that he was killed trying to protect her, so when she happens to look out into the courtyard and see him, she thinks she's lost her mind. That's pretty much the story behind this.

Yeah that's about it. What happens after this is contrary to the mood here. They all get captured and Hope mistakenly thinks he lead the enemy to her on purpose. That's really neat. >.>
