In the manga Riza's father was Roy's alchemy teacher, Roy left when he was 18 (to go to the academy), meaning he was studying there before he was 18, so yes, they did know each other But actually it doesn't seem like they had a very significant relationship as teens, Riza's father appears to have kept him studying hard a lot and Riza was probs busy with her own studies. But they were probably friends to an extent, just not super close.

This is so adorable! I'm not gonna lie, this is one of my favorite doodles that you did. I'm glad you did it digitally!

I love how the colors of their shirts go so well together Good color choice too. I always picture them in cool colors as teenagers. So it's a nice change to see them wearing warm colors

I love the way you drew him though. It's so precious. Riza is adorable too. I love the look on her face I really like how simple their poses are. It's very nice
