Description Boba Fett was conceived by the cloners of Kamino.  He was part of the payment the Kaminoans had to give Jango Fett in exchange for his services as the genetic template for an army of clones being grown for the Jedi Order.  As an embryo, Boba Fett was implanted into the womb of Rana Fett, Jango's wife.  She carried him to term and gave birth to him without incident.  He grew up mostly on Kamino, with periodic trips to visit the Fett Clan villa on Mandalore.  While his father frequently left Kamino on bounty hunting missions, Boba Fett remained on Kamino with his mother, Rana and Zarina, his adopted older sister.  Oddly, Boba also had an entire army of half-brothers in the Jedi Order's clone army.  Since he wasn't kept away from the clone troopers, Boba Fett often spent time with the clones, who considered him to be one of them, though they knew he was an unaltered clone being raised as the son of "The Original" (the nickname the clone troopers gave Jango Fett).

Things changed for Boba Fett and his family when Obi-Wan Kenobi came to Kamino looking for two Death Watch members known as the Chenko Brothers.  The Chenko Brothers had been tasked with assassinating Senator Padme Amidala, but failed when Cad Bane, the bounty hunter that they'd hired to make the hit, was captured by the Jedi Order.  Obi-Wan Kenobi came to Kamino to ask Jango Fett about the Chenko Brothers.  However, the Chenko Brothers had managed to infiltrate Kamino.  The incident caused Jango and Zarina Fett to join Obi-Wan in chasing the Chenko Brothers.  This left Boba on Kamino with Rana.  During the Clone Wars, Jango moved his family back to Mandalore, which he considered safer than Kamino.  This proved to be a good move when the Separatists attacked Kamino in a bid to cripple the Clone Army.  Boba Fett learned about the Clone Wars through the HoloNet news.  However, thanks to supreme efforts of his family, Boba was kept well clear of the war.  However, he was also just starting adolescence at that time.  Thus, when the Clone Wars ended, Jango Fett began grooming his son to become a bounty hunter.  Boba Fett soon began to acquire his own reputation as a supremely skilled bounty hunter.  Working with his father, Boba and Jango Fett became a much sought after team.  They also gained the attention of the Empire and were constantly pressured to register with the Imperial Bounty Hunters Guild or be thrown in prison.  Because of this, Boba and Jango Fett operated mostly in Hutt Space and the Corporate Sector to keep out of Imperial reach.  However, they could not avoid the conflict that broke out between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance.  Boba was not surprised that oppressed imperial subjects rose up to fight their oppressors.  He wished to join the Rebellion, but Jango refused to allow it.  However, Boba and his father could not avoid the conflict forever.  Two-years after the Rebel Alliance succeeded in destroying the Death Star, Jango and Boba were approached by Sifo-Dyas, who relayed a job offer to them.  The Empire was looking for bounty hunters to hunt down and capture the Millennium Falcon and her crew.  The Jedi Order knew the Empire would send Han Solo, the Millennium Falcon's captain, to Jabba the Hutt, and wanted to hire Jango and Boba Fett to capture Han Solo themselves.  Boba questioned his uncle about why the Jedi would want to send one of their allies to his death.  Sifo-Dyas informed them that it was part of Anakin Skywalker's plan to force Jabba to lift the bounty on Solo's head.  Though Jango and Boba did the job and ultimately aided in killing Jabba the Hutt, they were inextricably shoehorned into the Galactic Civil War.  It was only then that they discovered that Rana, Shara, and Zarina had already joined the Rebel Alliance, thanks to Sifo-Dyas and the Jedi Order, who were supplying the Rebel Alliance with ships, food, and supplies, AND helping to establish new rebel cells.  Jango and Boba proudly aided the Rebel Alliance, and were among the loudest to celebrate when Palpatine fell in battle with the Jedi Order, and his cruel regime collapsed.

After the Galactic Civil War ended, Jango Fett retired from bounty hunting to live a quiet life on Mandalore.  Boba Fett inherited Slave-1, Jango's ship, and continued working as the galaxy's best bounty hunter.  Eventually he took a wife and sired children, and like his father, Boba settled his wife and children at the family villa on Mandalore, while he continued his bounty hunting job.
