Of all the Sith Stalkers created by the Galactic Empire, the Desert Demon is the most mysterious. No one knows where he came from, and the vast majority of stories only state that he simply walked out of a sandstorm on every desert planet from Tatooine to Geonosis. The only Sith Stalker who strikes more fear than this sand peppered terror is General Grievous himself. The Desert Demon is perfectly at home in the worst of deserts. He is known to survive in areas that any other being would be crazy to enter, which only adds to the aura of terror that surrounds him. In fact, his name, "desert demon" was given to him by a tribe of Tusken Raiders of Tatooine, who were the first to encounter him. When the last of them staggered half dead onto a moisture farm, he lived just long enough to tell the farmer's protocol droid about his tribe being slaughtered by a demon from the deep desert. Ever since that Tusken Raider massacre, everyone has called him the Desert Demon. It is said that he never fails to kill a target that tries to escape him in the desert. However, the Desert Demon is just as competent out of the desert as well. Despite his desert survival gear, cobbled together from the torn rags of Tusken Raiders he has killed, the Desert Demon easily vanishes in the darkness of night. If the vast majority of stories about the Desert Demon seem exaggerated and outrageous, it's because most of those who encounter him end up dead. The lightsabers lining his belt are a testament to the number of Jedi who have fallen his blade.
