I made a pencil drawing like this when I was eleven years old, and it now sits in the scraps of my old deviantART account, Baeacnkgi . I originally pictured this as some sort of spirit magic occurring in an icy cave.

I'm currently dealing with the lifelong struggle of chronic depression and BPD, coupled with ever-present anxiety and PTSD. art has been like pulling teeth for years. but I'm trying to get back some of the old magic by doing redraws from my old gallery.

EDIT 8/19/2017: I figured out what was bothering me about the background at least a year ago, but I only just got around to fixing it: now she's standing in water!
