Ok, and I think it's an interesting question what makes a "true" painting these days, but I like the painting that you did do, even if it is over a photo.

I like how the white flows around the canvas.. hair to scarf & back. Actually, a lot of the ?brushwork? shows this movement. It frames her face nicely to create a great portrait.
