A princess bunny cradles her pet bunny, while a beast-bunny lurks near by, close yet distanced from them by a cold stone pillar... I have my own little story behind this scene, but I'll leave you to make up your own. \:]
I've already spent over a day and a half on this, and I could easily spend another day or so just fiddling with it, but I don't think I should. So I'm sorry for any nigly errors or mistakes...*wishes she hadn't used textured paper* ...and I really should use some reference when making full BG pics like this x.x
There's been a lot goin' on for me lately... so I'm sorry if I haven't been commenting as frequently as usual.. - I've been saving a back-log of deviations in my message centre so one day when I have some free time I'll run through them all and catch up \:]

I kinda dreamt about you saturday night.. I dreamt you had your own private minijet thing.. and you were doing a solo around the globe or something insane like that.. and panda and I came up to see you (while you were flying) but you werent in the cockpit so we went around the whole plane looking for you and eventually the plane crash landed in an american harbour.. and I guess panda and I would have drowned.. but I woke up o.O

yeah.. me too.. I think it's only when you start looking at some beautifully complex pencil stuff that you can full understand the complexity of colour and light in our world... there's some crazy stuff goin' on with tones!! I plan to do more with it shortly.

don't ask why, because I don't know. i get this feeling whenever i look at this, and am completely serious when saying this is the deepest, thought provoking, and overall, best piece of art i have ever, and probably ever will see. incredible job.

You have done it again! Another amazing picture! I really like the shading on this one. When shading do you first lay out the light layer and then build more shadows and make it darker as you go along or do you first lay out the dark shadows and then build up the lighter colors later? Which is easier to you? For me I guess I go with the first choice. Keep up the good work as always!

I want it. Seriously, Kat, I ADORE this. The pencilwork is just fantastic. And all the detail on the bg and Beast Bunny! My only qualm is that your stupid scanner barfed on your shading so it looks grainy.

it's good for more traditionally arty stuff.. and watercolour.. stuff like that.. if I were using drawing sticks the cartridge paper-like surface would be great... I just didn't really appreciate that it would have that effect on delicete pencil work.. - I'll be sure to use a smoother page next time. - and white too. instead of cream, as it's difficult to get it looking good once it's scanned in. -_-
