Cheers.. the whole concept of a "placement" is a tricky one, since I'm freelance and have no car to travel I'm pretty limited to what I can apply for.. but of course if a dream job were to come up somewhere I could afford to live I would consider moving to it.. - I've thought about game concept stuff.. when I get back from France I'm just going to over-haul all my online presence and make myself as employable as possible!

You've really done a fantastic job creating a piece which we can all relate to; the emotion conveyed through colours, lighting and this central character is immediately recognizable.

thanks hun.. I really appreciate it.. it was kinda a weird piece for me... it kinda sums up a lot of how I'm feeling at the moment but at the same time it was nice to kick back and paint something without worrying about anatomy or anything like that... just let loose and go. `:]

Yeah, I completely understand that; as of late I've been in need of painting something loose without concerning myself with aesthetics so much as the therapeutic or cathartic effect of creating the piece.

it wasn't meant to be an anatomical study tbh... these hands are probably some of the worst I've ever drawn, but I'm glad you think they're good enough anyway :3 lol .. - just free painting this really.. not worrying too much and "feeling" it rather than thinking it

yeah, personally i think it's awesome... But i guess too many people look down on it since it's not top-end or what have you....i think enjoying the process and being happy with the out-come is far more important than using the most expensive software/equipment!
