Coloured version of these inks for *raygirl 's competition. Akkia has stolen the popcorn imp's popcorn, so he's following in persuit, and Spyne lingers in the shadows behind to ensure nothing bad happens to his little brother Akkia.
I'm so please with how this came out... it took hours and hours (was up till 4am this morning!!) but it's pretty close to how I pictures it in my head.
I'm using my sister's old PC to colour on though, it's not powerful enough so I actually had to render this in greyscale and put the colour on afterwards... a weird way of working but it seems to have come out ok inspite of that. it also took over 15 minutes every time I wanted to save the damn thing! 
there's a 7 on Akkia's helmet cos it's my lucky number, but it was also probably a subconscous nod towards ~cheeks74 's bastian 7 when I was drawing this! :]

I love how manic it is, all that action crammed into one frame, that's pretty impressive! And double hooray for motion blur! Spesherly on the popcorn! AND COLOURS! But I mean, you have to be good at colours, really. If you weren't, I wouldn't like you. HAHA JUST KIDDIN'!

I love the slight blur effect you've put on there (unless that's just my eyesight o_o), not to mention the colour palette, the perspective, and of course the choice of characters...seriously....I'm awed

the blur is intentional - thanks for noticing!! I went through various stages of blurred/non blurred befre I finally decided to setle on this one... some of the more blurred versions looked really cool but it kinda ruined the crispness of the lineart \:]
