fights certainly make for some interesting oppertunities to use weird and wonderful poses.. especially when you're dealing with air-based fights I guess.. dragons and birds and stuff... I love drawing things like this :]

That is a great wyvern body. I simply love the detail that you put into the whole thing. I feel kinda bad for the poor thing though. He's just getting his butt handed to him.

AS the comission requestor of this piece I can say with complete certainty that I think she did a fantastic job on putting this picture together as well as she has.
Katza, it is wonderful and thank you for doing this commision for me. It is perfect.
For some background, I will be useing this image (with Kat's permission of course) to create a 3D image of this using metal miniatures. When complete I will have Kat post the picture of it on her sight for comparison.
Also for those of you worried about the dragon, he gives a good account of himself by singeing the bird's tail feathers and partially toasting a wing.

yeah I love dragons too!! ^_^ .. it killed me to do this to this guy.. such a cool lookin' dragon and then along comes one poxy giant eagle and ruins the whole thing! x.X pooh!! .... oh well, in my world, the dagon retalliates and gives the eagle an-ass-kicking!! ..even with just one eye

cheers bear! the initial plan wasn't to render this one at all, the comissioner requested a line-drawing. But then he paid me more than what I asked for, so I thought if he paid more, it's only fair that he recieve more! ^_^ hehe.. - fortunately the piece lended itself to some nice hatch-work, and the buyer loved it
