Just a quick portrait to practice digital painting...
about 2 hours in photoshop.

it's pretty rough for the most part to be honest (which might have been more obvious if I'd posted the whole painting instead of just this close up on the face) .. but I started with the darkest blue/black colour then build up the lighter tones with smaller and smaller brushes... that's pretty much it \:]

Loving this, although the ears do seem to disappear into the bg.

cheers matey :] kinda going for the whole; skin the same colour as the bg malarky... helping the hair and eyes to stand out .. it's more tonal practice than anything though. \:]
tbh the face is the only part I spent any decent time on (and it shows) lol
