There's been A LOT of media of the Arthurian Legends. The most direct answer to your question I can think of is "Camelot," starring Richard Harris, which came out in 1967. Granted, that is a musical, which is far from my favourite genre.
There's been some Made-for-TV movies and mini-series as well. I don't remember the exact title of it, but it was one of these series that was one of my first exposures to the mythos, that and the Disney cartoon. Hollywood does seem to have a bit of an obsession with origin stories. One only has to look at the Spiderman films to see a good example of that. Much like how we all know how Spiderman came to be, we all know how King Arthur came to be, but man do movie studios love retreading old ground.
The new King Arthur movie by Guy Richie was supposed to be the start of a series of Arthur films running through his whole reign, but the first film was a massive financial failure. It simply cost way more then it made, and the subsequent films have been cancelled, which honestly I find rather annoying. Personally, I quite liked the movie.
I've always wondered if part of the reason they don't like dealing with the rest of his reign is because of just how badly everything ends. While media with tragic endings does very well in some countries (Russia being the prime example, often filming two endings for their movies, one for the home audience and another for export), North American audiences have a definite preference for happy endings. John Wayne's films are a good example of this in action. Good guys win, bad guys lose; not might makes right, but might for right. Stick to your moral guns, and everything will work out in the end, no matter how dark everything may seem.
Arthur's ending, and that of Camelot, is not so rosy.

I wonder if there has been an instance where someone was so strong that the whole stone was lifted up and used as a club...
The word club having two very different meanings ruined that Google search.

Lol well I don't know all the characters. XP but in some way I could see the octo lady as being some ones version of the Lady of the lake, and in the back ground King Arthur is just so lost on who this fox girl is. XP I know that's probably not whats happening, but I can so see it. *Chuckle*
