thanks so much maria turned out ok i was nervous painting the back side i did that first just in case..lol.. but the paper was heavyweight really took paintng both sides it was a good experiment

thank you so much anne for this painting i used a sheet of Arches cold press Aquarelle Watercolor Paper 140lb (300gsm), watercolor brand papers i have used so far are Arches hotpress, Canson and strathmoore, i like each of them for different reasons , with hotpress you can really do fine details and even pencilwork ,but i find with cold press it absorbs colors more easily and paper can take more strokes and work hotpress i think its a bit more sensitive but scans better than coldpress, but i think my favorite is cold press i feel it can take a lot of water and different painting technics
