Hello everyone! It's been a long time huh? 
My main inspiration for Yu-Gi-Oh drawings hasn't come back yet but like I did for 's gift I wanted to do this for my friends that are more Yu-Gi-Oh fans than W.I.T.C.H fans! I also remembered that my Aibou had made a crossover like this with Teen Titans and I was aiming making stuff like this for her in a long time! Now that I finally managed I tried making a fast sketch for her, also meaning to see if I remember how it's done! 
Anyway here's the deal of what happened in that episode:
Firestar (Anzu/Tea) is excited because it is the Friendship Celebration day in her planet and so she wants to celebrate it with her friends. However none of her friends seems to be taking her seriously and on top of that they are fighting each other over the silliest of things. Firestar is really frustrated because she believes her friends take friendship for granted and she fears for the worst for their future and whether they would stick together with that attitude.
Then, while the team is facing someone from the future, Firestar gets trapped within a vortex of time and space and finds herself in a dark, twisted future in which Domino City is a cold place. Her friends are all grown old and also their friendship is broken, each one of them had ended up in their own sad world; Cyberborg (Honda/Tristan) is bound to the Titan Tower, unable to move away without being placed in a plug, Beast Joe (Jounouchi/Joey) is locked in a cage, tranforming for other people's amusement and Harpie (Mai) has remoted herself from everyone, fighting her own demons.
None of her friends seems to have any will to fight anymore, apart from Sparrow (Yami) but he too seems to have given up on his team, not believing they can be together anymore and so he has chosen himself the path of the lonely punisher of crime. The years of hardship and loneliness along with his personal bitterness and sadness made him changed too in many ways and he even discarded his old name, which he used to be the leader of Teen Titans, now calling himself Darkwing
Forgive me for the low quality of this! 
Also sorry but the paper was really bad quality and couldn't avoid tearing it by mistake at the down right corner. Sorry!
Anyway I hope you like it, my friend, and you all of course! Now as for why I chose the name from Nightwing to Darkwing It was really random. It was because usually changes the names of her characters in the crossover to make it more unique or fitting with their personalities so I decided upon changing it myself. I went through many names before settling with this. I thought of "Blackwing" or "Dark Phoenix" or many others but I decided to keep it simple. Also because "Yami" means "Dark" I wanted to make that connection. Also I wanted to show the "evolution" because the sparrow is a bird with "dark-colored" wings so Yami here evolved from a "small sparrow" to a "dark-winged" predator.

Darkwing? As in Darkwing Duck XD (I loved that cartoon when I was little)
Anyway this is awesome. The outfit reminds me of Batman Beyond. His expression also fitting for a dark styled super hero

Thanks! Ah yes now that you mention it, it does look similar! Nightwing from Teen Titans indeed appears to have some aspects with that vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/te⦠(I loved that show, by the way! It was so dark and I liked those gadgets and also the silly jokes Terry was cracking!

I remember knightwing as well from the old batman cartoon. I never watched shows like teen titans or young justice though.
LOL I loved that show as a kid, I watched it every day after school. Terry was so funny with his sarcasm and Bruce was always serious. Even the dog had his moments XD.
The gadgets were so cool! Invisibility, wings with jet boots, microphones.

Hahahahahaha! Indeed! I mean Bruce made jokes too but he was always serious and in a way had this bitterness and vengetful spirit while Terry was "pure" of personal grudges and he did what he did because he could and not because he was "forced" by conditions. And yes he was SO spirited!
Some moments of his were simply hilarious! For example when he faced that strong guy (I don't remember the name) and he fainted and Bruce took care of his wounds, when Terry woke up Bruce was like:
"...and four broken ribs"
"Only four?"
And in the same episode Terry was ready to leave and Bruce was like:
"Wait, what about your breathing?"
"I'll breathe in the weekend!"
Geez that guy!

Ah, I forgot xD. And I never watched teen titans or young justiceΒ but I'm sureΒ they're from the same writers.
At the time I missed the nice and sympathetic Bruce from the original animated series. But as an adult I understand how he could become a bit callous over time. All the horrible crimes he had to investigate and such.
Terry was a troubled teen with good potential.Β He cleaned up his act and became batman with Bruce. Β
Yeah lol! And remember the episode where Ras al Ghul came back? He was in his daughter Talia's body. Terry said "you're freaking me out lady!" and then Bruce said, "you? she kissed me"Β XD so funny.
There was also a funny episode called Terry's friend dates a robot. At the end when he said "we can be friends." The robot said "friends?" then Terry yelled "she's gonna blow!!"
A lot of great moments 
That future was so developed, his suit and the flying cars and advanced weaponry/appliances.

Well it was a funny cartoon and it had some really dark themes in it too but in the end I was always fan of the classics.

Didn't except something like this, but that makes me love this even more. I love that you decided to give him a different name like I had been doing. Even the fact that you included links to my drawings for the different characters that you mentioned in your summary of the episode. Even adding that summary was a great idea, because I had forgotten part of that episode, since it has been a while since I have seen it. Having his hair long like that is a great touch, plus I think he looks great with his hair that long. Makes me want to draw him that way. Adding the line he would say is great. Once again you have made me such a wonderful drawing for my birthday!

You seemed to like Teen Titans so I thought of making you something like this for a change instead of the usual stuff. In the beginning I thought of drawing it like that without background. Then I realized it would be too plain again and so I made some basic background. Then I considered of sending it to you without colored background and just a colored figure, like it happened in old Marvel comics!
I am glad you approve the name. I wasn't sure what you had planned for him so I just changed it like you did to many of them.
I thought I should place the description/summery because not all people are familiar with the old Teen Titans series and so I wanted to give a hint of the plot. Hehehehe I am glad you liked his long hair. For some reason I thought it suited him too, when I made him for my story as a samurai/assassin, I thought it suited him and I decided to give it a try again.
I am also glad you liked the line. I thought I should give it a "comic vibe" that's why I also added the bubble instead of just writing the line to the corner like I originally planned to. Anyway I am glad you liked it as a birthday gift. I couldn't make something better!

I do enjoy Teen Titans a lot. Adding the background was a good choose, because it makes this a better drawing over all and creates a nice scene.
To be honest...I'm not sure either, because right now I haven't been working on drawings for that series I started. I have one unfinished drawing, but that is it. There is thoughts for which Yu-Gi-Oh! characters I would have as certain Teen Titan characters, but aside from that...nothing.
True...since Teen Titans GO! is the latest Teen Titans series. That and I have seen many drawings of Yami in long hair and that length of hair suits him.
It deserves that kind of vibe, because of Nightwing being a comic book hero. This is fine and I couldn't ask for anything better.

I see. Yes makes sense, don't worry. Like I said it was an idea stuck in my head for a long time to draw this and so I managed to draw this in your birthday.
I see thanks for saying that. The plan here, like it was to the first drawing I ever made with Yami having long hair, was to sustain the "star-shape" pattern but make it look like hair falling to the back and so this is the result!
