Hi
Long time no seen!
Here is a random monster from the darkness. It's a pencil drawing plus digital color. I also took some time to experiment with values, focusing on shadowy areas and areas that are directly touched by light. This guy explains it pretty well . Unfortunately it is something I didn't pay attention to (or rather didn't realize) for a very long time

The detailing here is gorgeous! I love the unnervingly-slightly-too-long fingers on the humanoid hands~! Perfectly unsettling!

I only realized that the hands are a little too human when I was done sketching. As I didn't want to start over, I kept them. I'm a little surprised that I get lots of positive reactions about them nevertheless - best things happen on accident I guess ^^'

Wow echt toll gemacht, all diese Details der Schuppen. Auch schön die Muskeln gesetzt. Mir gefallen auch sehr die Klauen, da vertue ich mich dauernd. Daher bewundere ich das sehr, wenn andere das so toll hinbekommen.

Dafür bist du um einiges erfahrener was die Schuppen betrifft, die sehen super aus bei deinen Drachen! Für mich sind die noch immer etwas Neuland, hab viel radiert xD aber mit ein paar Referenzbildern gings dann ^^'
