I really like this photo. The location, the pose - it's all beautiful.
I agree with Onionpie and 613-018 about the polish. I think it also has to do with the fact that her gaze is downward... right to that neon color.
But I suppose that is minor and it doesn't mean that the other parts that make up your photo aren't fabulous - because they are.

I find myself agreeing with Onionpie- the pink nail polish is only found on the model's nails, rendering them (oddly) important, or just distracting. I read the comment where you were defending the model's nail polish, so I understand you had no control over it.
In the preview, we expected a mystical fairy/nymph type figure- her pose is fantastic, the light is gorgeous, the water clear.
Close up, we see sequins, thick makeup, and pink nails. This is something we'd expect in a club... suggesting an entirely different kind of image, with a whole new kind of meaning.
This is not necessarily a bad thing. I personally prefer the light, mystical image of the preview, but someone else might prefer the contrast/combination of both city and nature. The picture could be read as the girl being at one with both city and nature... or even something about glory- natural, artificial, etc.
It's an incredibly strong image. Congrats to both you and the model!

Nice colours, but the pink nail polish did ruin it a bit for me, too. If the nail polish wasn't there, the colours would be a lot more unified. Nice lighting though.

you don't have to be the best at something to notice little things that can be improved on in others' works. If you actually wanted to improve, you'd listen to other people's advice instead of getting butthurt over it
