I find it funny how when you're an adult, if you do something creative you're automatically accused of using drugs.Anyroad, gee do I love LSD, its such a great song <3
The imagery is so vivid and surreal.

I like the impressionistic look of this. And yeah, I don't like how "Lucy" is always assumed to be about drugs... when John, George, and Ringo have all said it wasn't, and the picture of Lucy that Julian drew does exist.

Right, well, there's a difference between "inspired by drug imagery" and "OMG ABOUT DRUGS", you know? And since Lucy was a real person, you really can't say that song is about drugs.
Almost everything Paul wrote sounds like a love song. I mean, really? "Martha My Dear"? "Oh! Darling"? Even "Hey Jude", if it's actually about Julian (John's explanation, bizarrely enough, makes more sense to me), introduces "girl" imagery to a song ostensibly about a small child.

So true aha. Well I think "Oh! Darling" in a sense is kinda a love song. Not a happy love song but one of 'em. Now that I think about it "Hey Jude" does sound like a love song
