More art that I did for an upcoming furry art tutorial book called "Furries Furever", the third in a series published by IMPACT and put together by Lindsay Cibos and Jared Hodges. The 128 page full color book features art by myself and several other furry artists, as we explore our painting and drawing process. For my part, there are step-by-step instructions on how I do my art. These little guys were samples of different anthro bats! Bats contain such variety, so many fun characters can be made. ^^According to Amazon, the release date is August 13. Here in the US, Lindsay says she often sees the first two books in the series at Michaels and Barnes and Noble, so those will be good places to find it.

The first one on the top left is a flying fox the one on the top right is a pallid bat the one on the bottom left is a vampire bat and the one on the bottom right is a lesser long-nosed bat.

If you love bats, I highly recommend the Silverwing series by Kenneth Oppel. It's a great series with bats, wars with owls, and their versions of gods and religions.

Flying foxes are so ridiculous. I don't think there any way not to make them look at least a bit like a giant doof. I really like the leafy nosed bat too, she looks like a fun friendly sort. Excuse me while I squee off from bat happiness. It is a specific type of happiness.
