Yes deadline looms for the end of the PMD event and I am drawing PONIES.

So I have been extra crappy feeling for the last idk, whatever my last journal said and including the time since then. You know what is great for when you are too blah to draw? flashgeneratorthings. So after making a pony of every OC in my OC creature folder and other random shit I decided to make a boring looking pony and I liked her best.

In a world where everypony is bright and colorful primary colors I wanted to make one that was normal. Dust Cloud is a mundane grey pinto with a white mane, her only coloring being her eye and matching cutie mark which remain an unsaturated teal that might have looked grey compared to everything else.

The cutie mark is why she got herself a drawing and is in the main gallery instead of scraps like the ponysona I put up earlier. It was originally slightly more simple because boring, but when I plugged it in the generator the wing covered up half of it, and I noticed it looked like this . Since this is the art site and not the car site I will assume this requires explanation. That sign is the german autobahn sign that means end of speed restrictions. Suddenly the mundane Pegasus is a lot less boring, and now warrants a backstory.

Dust Cloud was a racer. As a young pony she showed great potential in flying skills and winning the Best Young Flyer competition a couple times. One day preforming a dangerous dive things went horribly wrong and she lost control, falling from the sky. Dust Cloud received many serious injuries but most devastating was permanent damage to her left wing, damaging flight feathers and causing lingering pain when attempting to fly quickly. She still can fly, but it is painful and nowhere near what she was once capable of. The cutie mark remains a bitter symbol of the lost limitless potential she had as she now lives her life as an earth pony.

edit: I am accidently uncreative again. Apparently Dusty has a relative in the wonderbolts and I didn't notice as he is on screen like once in two episodes. OOPS.
