- Not a big fan of big, obvious guns and weapons himself, Niels modified a glove he had bought while travelling and hired an underground mechanic to help design and customize it so that it could project multiple interactive screens at once. It's connected to his main computer in case he was nowhere near it and needed to access his files. It's plugged in to a metallic bracelet he wears on the same arm which acts as a battery and power source. It also has a feature that switches it to weapon mode, which he only uses if absolutely necessary. For now, all it can do is produce an electric charge strong enough to put down a man 3 times his size. Not strong enough to kill him, but enough to keep him paralyzed and unconscious for about an hour. He needs a way to defend himself in a potentially dangerous situation given his physique, after all. However, his bracelet only has enough power for one shock at a time. After use, it needs to be charged again or have its battery replaced. He is still trying to develop more weapon-like features for it in case he would ever need it for situations where he would need to defend himself and direct contact would be difficult. But not being a pro mechanic himself, he'll need help or hire someone for it.

- To be used in situations where his glove deems ineffective or unusable. His last-resort weapon of sorts which he keeps in one of his pockets.

- Born with asthma and weak lungs, Niels needs this mask to help protect him from breathing in dust, smoke, fumes and pollen that might trigger his asthma attacks. He is usually seen wearing this outdoors, but in places he's comfortable in and is sure won't harm him too much, he switches it for a more simple medical mask. His outdoor mask proves to be a hassle whenever he wants to eat sweets, so he usually stores any sweets he gets and eats them in his room when he can take his mask off.

- One of the last gifts he recieved from Gran before he left. He has multiple other scarves from her and he treasures them all, but this one is his favorite. Will wear whenever outisde, even when the weather is hot enough to fry an egg in.
▌ P E R S O N A L I T Y

Having spent the past few years travelling, not staying in the same place for too long and having his world revolve around money, Niels doesn't particularly care for relationships or friends. He doesn't make much of an effort to get to know the people and bunnies he actually meets, but he doesn't go through the effort of pushing them away, either. He doesn't really mind unnecessary chatter, but he tends to avoid it if starts to get repetitive and dabble on, and if someone gets a tad too annoying for his liking, then he just tends to avoid them altogether. Still, while growing up with nothing but his computer, he has gotten to know some faceless people online and often enjoys their very informative dicsussions, so he doesn't judge people too quickly and listens to them if they have anything useful or of value to say. Despite his lack of interest in much else, he is a genuinely curious bunny when it comes to work, current affairs, convenient new methodology and modern technology. That said, the quickest way to his heart is probably by giving him Carbon Nanotubes as a present. He also strongly dislikes liars, as he himself a painfully honest guy. Lying only makes things complicated, so it's best to get matters settled with quickly and efficiently.
Niels prefers to work at night than during the day, which leads to a very irregular sleeping schedule and dark bags under his eyes. He also has a very strong sweet tooth. Sweets are all he's ever seen eating, and he refuses to eat any vegetables. In addition to his asthma and weak body, all those sweets probably don't do much for his health. But again, he doesn't really care, so long as he's satisified. He is a firm believer in the concept of 'Fair Trade,' and likes to do things by-the-book unless he finds an otherwise more convenient way of handling things. He doesn't like to exert himself too much in activities that don't particularly concern or interest him as he easily gets exhausted, and either gets other people to do it for him, or ignores the job completely if he deems it of no real importance. Still, when he needs to get a job done, he does it well. He also usually appears to be very calm and composed, not caring for much, but he does have his vulnerbale moments: Specifically, when he's in pain or when there's candy involved. He doesn't deal too well with physical pain and blood, and it's difficult for him to hide it. And while he does have a weakness for candy, he hates it when people point it out and take advantage of it, especially when it's done merely to tease or make fun of him. Otherwise, he reacts to everything else with a straight face.
▌ H I S T O R Y

Niels was born a rabbit hybrid. He spent most of his childhood in hiding from mom's psycho family and learning about computers from his sickly dad. After being found out though, his parents died and he lived with his mom's pyscho family. One day after getting a clue about a rabbit-managed retaliation group from an anon online, he planned out his escape and caused a police raid to charge in and capture said psycho family while he was sent to Pearson to serve a year of juvy. After a year, he was let off and he started his life in Pearson. There, he met a kind old rabbit woman who took him in. He came to see her as his own mother, and to help with her aging body, he worked dangerous jobs in the black market to be able to pay for her medication. While on a job, he fucked up and the police started going after him. He hid in an abandoned building and there bumped into Pan. She called for help and in came Lea, picking them up and bringing them away from the cops. Niels tells them of his intention of joining BJBB and they recruit him and take his gramma in. The end.
[ S U M M A R Y ]
Niels was born from a human mother and a hybrid father, and spent most of his early years in hiding from his mother's wealthy, well-known aristocrat family who did not take too kindly to rabbits. During this time, his mom would be out often and he learned about computers from his dad who, like him, had a weak body and was often sickly. Eventually though, they were found out and brought before the family. His mother was banished for having a relationship with a hybrid and giving birth to this 'sin', and his father was executed in secret. From there, he was used by the family who saw potential in him to hack into small, careless companies and corporations to steal their information and break into their database to make the family even more prosperous. One day after meeting an anonymous rabbit online while browsing small rabbit-managed forums, he found himself telling them of his situation and that he needed help. Probably taking pity on him, the anon told nothing but the word 'Pearson'. Looking it up, he found that it was an island that provided protection for rabbit hybrids like himself in small rogue organizations. Niels then began to recall what his father had told him long ago, to look for an organization called BJBB had he ever found himself in need of help and had no one to turn to. He had also mentioned where it was but he couldn't remember it until then. It was the same 'Pearson'. So for a year, he looked into and gathered as much information as he could about this organization and island in secret. He needed an escape, and this group looked like it could help him and take him in afterwards. Unfortunately, looking for anything about it online never brought up anything but disappointment. Eventually when news arrived that his mother had died, he decided he couldn't live with this family anymore and began forming a plan. He then put into action his 'failure' which led to a police raid on the family. From what he was actually able to find from all his researching, he knew that any rabbits who broke the law would be sent to this Pearson, and him being still a minor, he wouldn't get anything more than a year at juvy there for hacking and the family would be detained and imprisoned, Though it was unlikely he would be able to escape from juvy and might end up having to waste a year there, he finally had his free ticket to Pearson.
A year had passed, and Niels was free to go. Though he was finally in Pearson, having been locked up the entire time, he wasn't able to look into BJBB as much as he wanted to. He still had nothing to go on regarding its whereabouts. Realizing that it could still be a while for him to make any progress with that, he decided that for now he ought to start finding a way to support himself and get by from day to day. Unfortunately for a bunny who had just gotten to Pearson, had no connections to anyone and knew nothing of living in this island, that proved to be a bit difficult. He made the slums of Pearson his base as it was easiest to move around in there and he found that some shady yet rewarding job opportunities surfaced there every now and then. One day after finding himself with not enough money for food, tired and weary, he collapsed in the middle of the roadside. He couldn't remember much after that, except for the feeling of being carried away somewhere by a pair of gentle hands. When he awoke, he found himself in the home of an old rabbit lady in the slums. She offered him food, and he was in no position to refuse, so he ate while he told her his story and what he's been through. When he was through, out of the memory of her deceased granddaughter, the old woman decided to help him and offered him to come live with her -- and that he did, for the next couple years.
Over time, to make money for gran's medication, Niels had to start taking on more dangerous black market jobs. While on one, his exhaustion caused him to slip up, and that led to the police chasing after his tail. While on the run, he ducked into an abandoned building and there, he bumped into Pan, a member of BJBB who as also on the run. She blocked the door before the police could come barging in, and sent a distress signal to an ally. In comes Lea through a window in all his divaness, and picks up both Pan and Niels when he notices him looking like he was about to faint. They escape. When he thinks they're finally out of the danger zone, he puts them down, and Pan patches up a large gash Niels had unknowingly recieved on his arm. Recognizing Lea from a wanted poster a while back for being part of a rebellion group, he asks Lea about the BJBB and told him of his intention of joining. And hearing him out, they recruit him in and take in his granny to see that she gets the proper medication.

▌ M I S C E L L A N E O U S
[ T R I V I A ]
- He'll take any form of sweets. Sweets are his life. The best way to greet him is to probably give him a piece of candy. He'll listen to you if you give him sweets while you talk, no matter how much you blabber on.
- Convenient new methodology = Life/Work hacks. Just throw some at him and he will automatically see you in a new light.
- Force him to eat rice or gruel, and you'd best make sure your pillow isn't laced with poison before you go to bed.
- He has incredibly little stamina, so any form of exercise or hard labor for more than 20 minutes will put him on the brink of death's doors with a welcoming gift of violent coughing fits.
- He actually has 2 moles on his face. ahue.
- Again, not having much stamina himself, he respects and is slightly envious of people who do and go out on actual missions. Sometimes he finds himself listening in on their work stories and how they went about completing it.
- Though he doesn't look it, he actually likes the feeling of getting petted on the head for doing a job well done. His gran always does that for him, and it provided him with the comfort of the mother he never fully got to know. That, and it's the easiest way to get him to sleep.
- He doesn't like sleeping much, but when he does actually get some sleep, he's out like a log and nothing can wake him until he gets up himself.
- Convenience being one of the more important things to him, he always makes sure to pack in whatever items he may need while outiside in his many pockets and bags he brings with him everywhere. Inside are miscellaneous things he may or may not use including replaceable filters for his mask, a power bank for his bracelet and glove, small portable computer tools and other convenient handheld gadgets to be used when his holographic screens would be inconvenient.
- He's comforted by the sound of soft hustle and bustle outside as confirmation that he wasn't alone, and that there were people right outside of his little world.
